#1 Reason Insurance Carriers Won't Insure Your Home

Welcome back to my video blog! Today I have Danny Matheus from Fulcrum Insurance Center with us. I asked Danny here to give us some tips on what to keep in mind when buying a new home.

What should buyers consider in a new home when it comes to insurance?

The policy underwriting process can take a long time and can delay the escrow period if the insurance agency doesn't have all the facts.

A lot of older homes have outdated wiring; they have fuses instead of circuit breakers. I represent 13 different insurance carriers in the state and none of them will insure a home that does not have updated wiring.
